Working Together

As Advanced Medical First Responders, we sometimes have the opportunity to work with other agencies in the community including, local paramedics, fire, and police.  We are not associated with any of these agencies, but work well with them on behalf of the patient to ensure that they receive the best pre-hospital care possible.

Emergency Medical Services

Even though we are not paramedics we do work closely with the professionals of the local Emergency Medical Service to ensure that every patient we treat together receives the highest level of pre-hospital care possible.

Handing off a head injury patient that was extricated from a wooded area.

Responding to the needs of an assaulted vicitm.

Transferring a patient to EMS for transport to hospital.

Handing over a patient experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing to local EMS for transport to the hospital.

Local Fire and Rescue Services

There are several instances where we are required to work closely with the members of the various fire departments in our community.

The men and women of the Welland, Port Colborne, Pelham and Wainfleet fire departments are a dedicated group of professionals who share our desire to serve the community that we all call home.

Whenever possible we try to take part in joint training exercises with the members of these fine services to ensure that our skills and abilities are second to none.
